Personal Care at home
Personal Care, delivered with privacy and respect.
Support with the most personal parts of the day, planned around comfort, consent, routine and independence.
Daily Personal Care
Washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting and continence support, according to the care plan.
Meals and hydration
Practical support with food, drinks and routines where this forms part of the assessed package.
Medication support
Prompting, assistance or administration only where assessed, agreed, recorded and within staff competence.
Mobility and transfers
Support using assessed techniques and equipment, while protecting independence wherever possible.
Care that notices the details.
Personal Care is not simply about completing a task. The preferred routine, pace, communication, privacy and small choices around the day all matter.
Care is based on assessment, consent, risk assessment and a clear plan. Changes or concerns are recorded and escalated so support can be reviewed when needed.
Working within our scope
Mutima Care provides adult Personal Care. We do not provide nursing care, diagnosis, prescribing or clinical treatment.
If someone’s needs fall outside what we can safely provide, we will say so clearly and signpost or liaise appropriately.
